May 2: Firing in Allai mosque in Mansehra
Four preachers and a local resident were killed and another four sustained injuries when a member of Tableeghi Jamaat opened fire on worshippers in a mosque in Pashto village in Allai on April 21. Police said that the accused, an ex-Levies Force soldier, has been suffering from a mental illness and in a fit of emotion, snatched a gun from someone in the mosque and fired at people there.The News
May 2: Police act as worship place looks like a mosque in Lahore
After receiving complaints about an Ahmadi place of worship in Sultanpura (Kachhupura), police visited the building and warned local Ahmadi residents that their place of worship should look less like a mosque or a case would be registered against them. The complainants said that the building had the Kalma-e-Tayyeba and prayer verses written at the entrance as well as minarets and that non-Muslims should be tried under the law for depicting themselves as Muslims. May 5: Another school blown up in Shabqadar

Unidentified men blew up a government primary school with explosives in the Shabqadar Police Station area. Police said that militants had planted four kilogrammes of explosive material in the school building. The powerful explosion destroyed a room and veranda of the school. Daily Times
May 6: Two schools bombed in Mohmand, SWA
Suspected militants blew up two more schools in South Waziristan and Mohmand agencies bordering Afghanistan. The suspects destroyed a girls’ middle school in Kari Kot area, five kilometres from Wana district of South Waziristan. In a second incident, a primary school in Halimzai district of Mohmand Agency was destroyed. However no loss of life was reported as the schools were closed over the weekend. Daily Times
May 6: Shia passenger coach attacked in Kurram
Several passengers, including three women and some children, were injured when unidentified militants ambushed their coach on Tal-Parachinar Road near Urwala Frontier Corps (FC) Fort in Lower Kurram. The van carrying Shia passengers was on its way from Parachinar to Peshawar when militants attacked using automatic weapons. The elders of the tribes urged the government to deploy troops in Lower Kurram, saying terrorists had been carrying out criminal activities in the area because of the government’s failure to ensure proper security arrangements. May 6: Hazara man killed in Balochistan

A Hazara man was killed in a shooting incident in Quetta, Mastung. According to levies, the man identified as Muhammad Ali was sitting at his tyre shop when armed men on a motorcycle opened fire, killing him on the spot. The Hazara Democratic Party has strongly condemned the killing, saying that the government had failed to provide security to the Hazaras. Daily Times
