May 22: Girl's school bombed in Risalpur
Unidentified militants blew up the two-storey building of a girls’ school in Mera Barakhel in Risalpur. Two explosions took place a few minutes apart at the Government Community Model School for Girls, damaging its building. The structure developed substantial cracks and was declared unsafe for use. The BDU officials claimed that four to five kilograms of explosives had been used in the explosions. The News
May 24: Member of Hazara community killed in Balochistan

A member of the Hazara community, Amir Mohammad, was killed in Quetta in a attack conducted on sectarian grounds. Mohammad was passing from Killi Chakar Khan of Sariab in the outskirts of Quetta when armed men opened indiscriminate fire on him. As a result, he sustained critical wounds and died before reaching the hospital. The police are raiding different localities in order to arrest the culprits. Pakistan Today
May 26: Bid to blow up shrine foiled in Peshawar
The police foiled a bid to blow up a shrine in the Garhi Suhbat Khan village that falls under the jurisdiction of the Khazana Police Station. The offcials were able to reach the location in time and defused the explosives. The News
