December 11: Girls school bombed in Landi Kotal
Militants detonated explosives at a girls primary school in the Bara area of the northwestern Khyber tribal region, destroying the building. Over 80 schools have been destroyed by militants in Khyber, according to sources. Daily Times

Gunmen opened fire at a tailor’s shop in the Sirki Kala area of provincial capital Quetta, killing Shabbir Ahmed, a Shia community member from Punjab. Separately, gunmen killed government servant Gul Shirin on Jinnah Road. In a third incident, armed men shot and injured two members of the Hazara community – Taj Muhammad and Khan Ali. Khan Ali died while being driven to a hospital. The Lashkar-e-Jhangvi sectarian outfit claimed responsibility for all three attacks. Express Tribune
