BANGKOK (Agencies) - A group of senior opinion-makers from Pakistan and India have urged the governments of both the countries to include the Kashmir dispute in agenda of forthcoming foreign secretary-level talks in Thimphu, Bhutan, reported Kashmir Media Service (KMS) on Sunday.
The group of opinion-makers which comprised retired ambassadors, foreign secretaries, intelligence chiefs, army chiefs, academics, political leaders and strategic policy journalists, addressing the two-day dialogue in Bangkok on range of issues, including Jammu and Kashmir, impacting bilateral relations of the two neighbours, stressed upon Pakistan and India to include the Kashmiri people in the future talks on Kashmir. The meet adopted a joint declaration in which the experts welcomed the forthcoming meeting of foreign secretaries and hoped that both the countries would be able to prepare the ground for the resumption of a comprehensive and sustained dialogue.
